CERTIFIED TECHNICAL ANALYST (CeTA) PROGRAM

 

Globally, the Technical Analysis industry is represented by the International Federation of Technical Analysts, USA (IFTA) and The Association of Technical Analysts (ATA) being an affiliated society of IFTA represents this industry in India.

 

As part of the ATA's objective of promoting greater use and understanding of technical analysis education, ATA's Education Committee have launched the professional course in Technical Analysis for both beginner and experienced analysts.

 

The main aim of the ATA's Certification is to certify that the candidate acquires the professional knowledge, understanding and skills to pursue a career as a Technical Analyst in the Financial Services industry.

 

 

Examinations

The ATA Certification consists of Two Levels which together constitute a complete professional program. Passing two level examinations culminates in an award of a world class professional qualification in Technical Analysis. The exams are intended to test not only your technical skills knowledge, but your understanding of the ethics and the market.

 

Level I :

This multiple-choice exam covers a wide range of technical knowledge and understanding of the principles of Technical Analysis. No prior experience is required. 

 

Level II :

Level II exam will include multiple choices, short and essay type questions.

Cost

Cost of the exams is as follows :

Level I : Rs. 15,000

Level II : Rs. 20,000

 

 

Admission & Eligibility

Note : Only members of ATA may sit for these exams.

 

The admission process is open round the year.

 

 

Exemptions

The following exemptions apply:

  • Individuals who have passed the CFTe Level I exam are exempt from the Level I of the CeTA program.
  • Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) are exempt from Level II, but must pass Level I before qualifying for the CeTA Certificate.

 

Special Features

Each candidate will receive the Technical Analysis Workshop Video CD and full one day exam preparation seminar for each level, offering candidates a chance to discuss and clear up any specific queries before the exam.

Classes

ATA is offering online preparation classes to assist potential candidates. Face-to-face preparation classes are also being offered by ISBF in New Delhi. Check back our website for classes’ schedule.
